SIKU SENSE

Aims to establish a field school conducted in collaboration with students from Nunavut and the Research Architecture, Goldsmiths, University of London.

Activities focus on developing acoustic mapping practices to record evidence of environmental change and to document local perspectives and insights from the next generation of practitioners.

“Siku” is the Inuit word for sea ice.

Commissioned by the Toronto Biennial of Art 2022  & Supported by a SSHRC Connection Grant and the Graham Foundation
